Hi Andrea, I just wanted to say hi to you and to all of the puppies and
dogs. I really like your site, and I will visit soon. I heard that Kira is
doing REALLY well on stacking, and I saw the picture of her doing her
BEAUTIFUL stack. My mom couldn't stop looking at it and saying, "Oh thats me
puppy!! I love me puppy".. she is a phyco when it comes to GSD's and her
dogs. LoL... well, I just wanted to say hi to all of you and can you please

I have 18 rescued animals of my own 3 of them are mine. I have two German Shepherds they are female and I love them to death. My oldest German Shepherd is 9yrs. old and she is special to me, because not to long ago a man tried to break into my house and if not for the Arthritious she would have killed him. Hi Andrea! An update - I have one of the beautiful babies from Amy and Ben's litter and she is fitting in wonderfully. She is developing quite the personality at just 11 weeks. Her ears are standing quite nicely and she is definitely all shepherd! (she gives her Auntie Heidi a run for her money!) Thanks again for all the care and support with Heidi and Kira - I am now the proud owner of two Evolution pups and wouldn't have it any other way. Seeya in a week or two at puppy kindergarten!

Hi I've been looking through the internet trying to find information about how to help my 1 year old female german shepard. I bought my female dog a year ago from a kennel in maine. She is diagnosed with hip diplaysia. I spent alot of money on her and wanted to know if you could share some information on what you think. I had asked the kennel if they could give me some of the the money back so I could get the dog treated. Her condition has gotten worse, to make a long story short, Is this how most kennels do business? I am so disappointed that they do not care. Please share any information you can about policies on dogs that you know. They told me that there's no kennel that would give money back on a dogs that has hip diplaysia. I wanted to thank Andrea for helping us to find the perfect dog. I was looking for a rescue dog and through this sight located an organization in Vancouver. To make a long story short, we now have our perfect dog. Her name is Jazz and she is 3 1/2 years old. She loves her new family and we love her. She fits in so well that it was really worth the time,effort and the wait(that is the hardest part). We also have a small farm with goats and horses and Jazz is amazing with the goats. 1 1/2 weeks ago our first goat kidded and now the second one has too. Jazz has literally adopted the baby goats...she mothers them, cleans them and worries when they all run in different directions. The babies run up to her and nudge her belly looking for milk and Jazz thinks that is just wonderful! The only problem is the Nannies, they don't think its wonderful and put Jazz on the run. Oddly enough all the kids run after her and make things all the worse! Really we are very happy and can't think of a thing that is missing in this dog. She is just perfect. think you are absolutely excellent as a trainer, and I've been to plenty of classes with my dogs to make comparisons. You have an instinct for reading the "moment" - something that I've only ever seen in top rate sheepdog handlers.

I love your site. What beautiful animals. I am looking to adobt/rescue a german shepherd. I have wanted one my entire life, but always ended up with mixed breeds. I have a shepard/lab that is need of a companion. He lost his best buddies recently and misses them terribly. I havent been able to find any shepherds locally as of yet. She may be "Evolutions Borialis", but to us she is simply Heidi. Heidi "adopted" us at eight months old, and we couldn't be happier about it. She has been a welcome addition to our family and to "her" kids, whom she is particularly fond of, both the ones in her family and the neighbourhood as a whole. Aloof with other adults, she becomes a big suck when there's a smaller person in the yard! Thanks to Andrea (or, to Heidi, Gramma) and Jessica for all of your support.
